Local 22 Training Reference Website

Use the link above to go to the new Local 22 Training Graphics Reference Site. This site was designed to make it easy to find graphic information about entertainment technology skills and equipment.

There are collections (Albums) of photos of equipment, each of which can be viewed as a slide show, or individually, and each photo can be downloaded for your own use. If you click on an individual slide in the album, you will be provided with a menu that allows you to download the photo, or click from one photo to the next. In each album, there is a link to play the Slideshow of all the photos in that album; the show can be stopped at any point, or reversed.

There are Albums of photos of processes, such as changing lamps in lighting instruments, or rigging a traveler track. These function like the others.

There are short reference articles on equipment and skills.

And there are podcasts describing processes you may be required to be familiar with, which are narrated and accompanied by photos. These can be played by using the controls under the title illustration. Also by clicking on the dropdown menu labeled "Start" at the right of the controls, you can choose to download the podcast as a QuickTime video. If you don't have QuickTime's free player on your computer, you can download it at http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/

The site is ongoing; it will grow as new material is produced, and we encourage suggestions of features you would like to see, as well as criticism of existing material. Nothing about the site is static; it's constructed so that it's easily edited and changed. Send your comments to Local 22, I.A.T.S.E. Training.
